Visitors are welcome to attend most SWAG events, usually for fee of £2 payable on the day. Please see the diary entries below.

The event on Sunday 14th May is a walk around Abberley Hill and Quarry organised by Sue and Steve Southwick.

 
Please note that this walk will be steep in parts.


The walk will be partly along the Worcestershire Way, passing old quarries that provided building stone and roadstone.


The walk will take approx. 3 hours.


We will meet at the  Abberley village Hall, Post code: WR6 6AA for a 1pm start.
The carpark is in the centre of Abberley, which is on the left just after you turn off Clows Top Road, towards the old village centre. 


The cost of the walk is £4 which includes guide leaflet.

Sunday, 8th April 2018. A guided walk led by a member of the Droitwich Canal Trust.

The walk will start from Lock Lane at Hawford and the route will take us down a
farm track to the river Severn. The short circular walk will include Locks 1
and 2 on the Barge Canal and possibly continue to Bridge 3. Estimated time 2 hours.
Final details will be distributed nearer the time.
